The screenshots on this page illustrate some of MixPad's
most useful features.
Main Screen
MixPad has two sections on the main screen:
The top section shows you the physical properties of the formula.
The bottom section works like a spread-sheet and shows you the amounts
of each material.
The top section can switch between weight and volume calculations, the
bottom section can display up to 18 of the possible 36 materials per formula.
Some of the other features are:
Speed buttons for common recalculations.
Drag and drop functions for moving around materials in the formulas
order.
Line descriptions for formula procedures.
Drop-down list for material selections.
Built-in calculator for changing amounts.
Edit Materials Dialog
MixPad
keeps all your materials together for easy editing.
Unlimited amounts
of materials may be stored.
Allows you to create
new materials automatically from formulas.
Keeps a list of
materials at hand for easy entering into new or existing formulas.
Allows for alternative
container information for batch ticket printouts.
Properties Dialog
MixPad
keeps special information on your formulas, such as:
Date of last formula
change.
Formula protection,
to prevent accidental changes to master formulas.
Specifications list,
for quality control and testing.
Notes, for a quick
memo on the formula.
Materials Search Dialog
MixPad gives you the tools to search for that rarely used material or
one that will fit into the formula you are shooting for.
Allows searches by all material properties.
Provides a list of all materials matching your criteria.
Double-clicking a material in the search list will automatically enter
it into your formula.
Formula Search Dialog
With this tool you can search for formulas that you may not be able to
easily find if you have large numbers of formulas. You can also find this
useful for finding what formulas a particular material is used in.
Search for all formulas that have a given material in them.
Search for any text in any formula.
Print Preview Dialog
One of our most requested features. This allows you to get a screen view
of your formula before you send it to the printer:
Print preview is available for batch, lab and percentage printouts.
Allows you to view alternative material amounts before output.
